5.25" x 7.25" portrait photograph featuring a distinguished image of President William McKinley, beautifully hand signed in the lower quadrant in a rich black ink "Marcus Benjamin, William McKinley". The photo is well preserved, with a notation on the reverse, "Estate of Dr. Marcus Benjamin, Calif." Benjamin was an editor of a number of reference works, as well as publications of the United States National Museum. He was also an aide in the office of Naval Intelligence during World War I.
