Mickey Mantle was, quite simply, one of the best baseball players of his generation and one of the greatest members ever of the New York Yankees organization. A rookie in 1951, Mantle would play 18 seasons with the Bronx Bombers and finish his Hall of Fame career in 1968 with 536 home runs, 1,509 runs batted in, and a career batting average of .298. He has also become known in the autograph world as one of the most unique, and often humorous, inscribers out there. Mantle signed this Official American League (Brown) baseball with a special inscription that reads: "Merry Christmas, Mickey Mantle '88". The signature is penned beautifully in blue ink and has been graded a strong NM 7. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
