The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, known unofficially as the Warren Commission, was established by President Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. As part of the 7-man committee, then-Representative Gerald Ford assisted in coming to the conclusion that the act had been committed by Lee Harvey Oswald alone. Offered here is a typed letter on Ford's personal letterhead attesting to his position in the committee and confirming that he agreed with the unanimous decision made in 1964. The letter has been signed at the conclusion in black ink, "Gerald R. Ford". In fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
