They just don't make them like Charles Barkley anymore. When the Chuckster took the court, he took no prisoners and played with a ferocious attitude. Although he was listed as 6-6, Barkley was more like 6-4 in all actuality. These Nike Air Force Max sneakers were worn by Barkley during his long career. The size 16 black, white and purple (Suns-themed) show has a leather and suede exterior. The heel tabs have Barkley's uniform number "34" embroidered and an ordinary "Nike Air" appears on the outer tongue and heel. The interior tagging is appropriately labeled "931012 FTPS" to denote the manufacturing date and player-issued status; these shoes were not available to the public. A purple elastic support section inside adds stability for the feet. The original black laces and orange Nike insoles are not present. Barkley has signed the side of each shoe in silver felt tip. Overall, some of the finest used Barkley shoes we have ever seen, these monumental Barkley gamers came from the personal collection of Coby Karl (son of longtime NBA coach George Karl), who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father. Each shoe is accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
