Typed letter on White House letterhead, dated July 9, 1931, signed at the conclusion by the President of the United States, Herbert Hoover. Reads, in full, "My dear Judge Grubb: Now that the Commission has completed its work I wish to express my personal appreciation of the fine and devoted national service which yo uhave so unselfishly given. You will be gratified by the splendid comment of the press upon the reports now being issued. Overall in good condition with minor discoloration and one horizontal crease. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
