Offered here is a one page appointment, dated June 23, 1904, that has been signed by both PTheodore Roosevelt as President and future President William Taft as Secretary of War. The document is promoting Walter Singles as Second Lieutenant in the Artillery Corps. In overall fine condition with light vertical creasing and moderate toning that darkens toward the right-hand side of the document. The blue seal remains intact to the lower left.
