The Harry Potter series would captivate the world overnight in 1997. Nearly everything author J. K. Rowling has produced since that date has captured the imagination of her fans. Despite the main-stream success, J.K Rowling signed items are incredibly scarce due to her dislike for the press. This first American edition Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (book #1 in the series, the one that started it all) has been signed by the author in near-mint black felt tip pen. In overall fine condition with some rippling to the dust cover and signs of splitting to the binding (see images for details). Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
