Between the years of 1949-1953 the New York Yankees would conquer the baseball world with five consecutive World Series Championships, a record that stands to this day & many believe may never be broken. For three of those five years, the Yankees would be matched up against Dem Bums from Brooklyn, lighting up the entire state of New York. Relics in any form from those classic New York match ups are rarely seen in any way, shape or form. This simply stunning sphere has been signed by signed by 15 members of the 1953 World Championship team including Mickey Mantle, Billy Martin, Whitey Ford, Bill Miller, Bob Kuzava, Hank Bauer, Johnny Sain, Ewell Blackwell, Allie Reynolds, Ed Lopat, Phil Rizzuto, Don Bollweg, Johnny Mize, Yogi Berra, and Gil McDougald. Overall in good condition with minor toning. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
