Presented is a marvelous Babe Ruth single signed & hand written note. Babe Ruth’s exploits on and off the baseball diamond remain the stuff of legend after nearly a century’s passing. His towering home runs, his role as savior of the sport following the Black Sox scandal of 1919, his remarkable rapport with his youngest fans, and his robust, good-natured persona ... all of these qualities, and more, make him the true King of the Diamond. While Ruth did sign quite a bit, hand written items in any form are considered the utmost rarity. This original 6" x 4.5" notebook page cut reads, "Had a lovely time. Sincerely, Babe Ruth". Also includes the date "3/11/47". The page has some toning and a couple of small spots, but stands overall well-preserved for its age, with the Babe's steel tip inscription and signature remaining strong. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
