In a 21-year career (1890-1911), Cy Young established major league records that still remain unbroken: most wins (511), innings pitched (7,355), games started (815) and most complete games (749). He won 30 or more consecutive games five times and passed the 20-win mark 10 times. No wonder MLB named the annual award for best pitcher after him - he was the game's greatest. Young, who was named to the Hall of Fame in 1937 and passed away in 1955, has inked this 3" x 5" magazine photograph in fountain pen ink. Overall in fine condition with minor fading & minor handling wear to the 12" x 18" frame. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
