Offered here is a 16" x 20" vellum one page 1813 document signed in French by leader NAPOLEON I: (1769-1821) to Jean Ghiraldi. The partially printed document being a patent title given to officer Jean Ghiraldi, authorizing him to remain at the service of the King of the Two Sicilies. The document establishes the rules under which this authorization is given, and explaining that in no circumstance officer Ghiraldi can participate in any military action against the French Empire. Countersigned by the Minister of Justice and by the Secretary of State. Overall in fine condition with expected aging and wear. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
