For most, Deion Sanders is as good as it gets for the defensive side of the ball. With his flash and uncanny ability to be around the football, Prime-time would stack up 53 interceptions & 22 touchdowns over his illustrious career. Many would argue Deion's best seasons were as a dirty bird in Atlanta, where he would go on to intercept 24 passes (including a career high 7 in 1993). Deion gamers are seldom seen, especially early career examples such as this. Offered here is a game used 1992 Atlanta Falcon's jersey that has been worn & signed by none other than Prime-time himself, Deion Sanders. The Russell size 44 manufacturer and size tags are sewn into the lower left front tail and the Russell logo is sewn on the sleeves above the Falcons logo. Champion actually produced the Falcons jerseys in 1991 and the Champion logos were affixed under the Falcons logo on the right sleeve. This jersey clearly shows where the Champion logo once resided meaning that this jersey was likely used for multiple seasons. Russell would take over the manufacturing from Champion in 1992 & with many teams still recycling jerseys, this jersey is most likely a late 1991 & early 1992 gamer for Deion. Signed on the reverse by Sanders with a playing era signature in black ballpoint. Overall in fine condition showing signs of medium use & multiple team washes.
