For three of those five years, the Yankees would be matched up against Dem Bums from Brooklyn, lighting up the entire state of New York. Relics in any form from those classic match ups are rarely seen in any way, shape or form. This simply stunning sphere stands the test of time, as this Official American League Harridge ball saw game action in Game One of the historic 1953 World Series & then was signed by some of the major players & attendees at the fall classic, which included an impressive 11 future Hall-of-Famers. With eleven signatures total, this star studded ball features near-mint signatures of both clubhouse leaders Mickey Mantle & Jackie Robinson along with Yogi Berra, Johnny Mize, American League President Will Harridge, Joe Collins, Tom Gorman, Jack Dempsey, Irv Noren, Gil McDougald & one other. Overall in find condition with evident game use & a collectors notation on the Harridge stamping. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
