With the explosion of the card market, rookie of legends like The Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky, have absolutely skyrocketed in demand and in value. Offered here is Gretzky's Topps rookie issue, nicely hand signed by Gretzky in blue ballpoint pen. It appears that the pen didn't initially take on Gretzky's first attempt, leading him to squiggle a few times along the edge to re-start the pen before executing his signature in full. While Gretzky signed rookies are desirable in any form, only a scarce few examples have surfaced with his desirable rookie-era style. Impressive! Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
