Over the years, Nike and Michael Jordan have combined for some of the most innovative footwear to hit the hardcourt. Here's a rather futuristic styling, made exclusively for and worn by Jordan during his glory days in Chicago in the 1993 NBA playoffs/Finals - just prior to his brief year-long "retirement" from basketball. This black color scheme style Jordan 8 shoe was only worn by His Airness between the 1993 first round playoffs all the way until hoisting the trophy in the NBA finals. This pair of his Nike Air Jordan VIII shows game wear is exhibited throughout the shoes' surface, with scuff marks to the toe and sole along with minor separation of the heels. The sneakers bare a common club house variety signature of Jordan seen from the Bulls locker room at that time. Showing inside tagging of the proper size "13" with a unique code consistent with Jordan's orders. The wear is also consistent with Jordan games showing proper wear leaving Mears with a final grade of AUTHENTIC & worn during the fore-mentioned 1993 Playoffs/NBA Finals. Authenticated by MEARS authentication with an auction style letter of authenticity.
