For many reasons, the 1995 New York Yankees baseball team should be considered one of the most important years in Yankee history. With the true rookie seasons of two of the greatest of all time, Mariano Rivera & Derek Jeter, no one could have predicted what was next for the Yankee franchise. With a lackluster season that saw Don Mattingly hang up the pinstripes on a 79-65 squad, needless to say there wasn't much demand for team signed Yankee items that year. With only 15 appearances for Jeter & 19 for Rivera, and the two only playing in the same game three times during the '95 campaign, anything signed by these two dating back to 1995 is of the utmost rarity.
