CATALOG CORRECTION: BAT FEATURES 11 SIGNATURES tremendously desirable gathering of autographs from the "original" 500 Home Run Club of the 1980s, presented here is a Louisville Slugger H&B Mickey Mantle personal model baseball bat, beautifully hand signed in blue felt tip marker by Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Ernie Banks, Frank Robinson, Harmon Killebrew, Willie McCovey, Hank Aaron, Reggie Jackson, Mike Schmidt and Eddie Matthews. The signatures on the bat are very fine overall, with only the slightest signs of smudging to the "M" in Mantle's autograph and "J" in Reggie Jackson's autograph.
While this collection of autographs is desirable in any form, bats are particularly desirable--and undoubtedly the rarest and most valuable form--given Mantle and Williams' restriction on signing bats throughout their professional signing days.
In addition to autographs, the bat also features a special postal cancellation on June 12th, 1989 from Cooperstown, honoring the baseball Hall of Fame's 50th Anniversary.
