Two pieces of Abraham Lincoln’s Deathbed Blanket Threads From The Petersen Boarding House, April 14, 1865, each measuring approximately .5” long, and encapsulated in a CAG holder measuring 2.25” x 3.25.” Accompanied by a plethora of background provenance paperwork, including a copy of a University Archives/John Reznikoff COA, an image of the Lincoln death bed, background info listing this as having originated from the collection of Harold Holzer, a prominent Lincoln scholar and collector of Lincolniana, who edited over 52 books, most on Lincoln, and acted as the senior VP of public affairs at the MET. An incredible piece, with an impressive lineage, and one the first of its kind to come to market nicely presented in a CAG holder.
