In 1830, Lincoln's father, Thomas Lincoln, brought his family, including Abraham, from Indiana to a new home in Macon County, Illinois. Already residing in the area was the family of Lincoln's cousin, Dennis F. Hanks, including his son John. Together with the help of young Abraham, they erected a 16' x 16' log cabin. This lot includes a section of the wood siding. Comes encapsulated and authenticated by CAG.
