Don't tell Ted Williams, but some say that this devastating Dominican slugger might just be the greatest hitter that ever lived. Now, it still may be a bit too early to make such a pronouncement, but if he is one day remembered as such you'll wish you had purchased this gamer when you had a chance. Offered here is a Louisville Slugger C243 Albert Pujols personal game model bat used by "The Machine" himself in his 2001-2002 Rookie of the Year Season. The bat exhibits great usage including a crack along the center brand, several ball marks with stitch impressions visible on the barrel, along with blue ink transfers. There are cleat marks on the front right and left barrel. Also visible are red and blue bat rack streaks and an impression from a weighted batting donut. Light coat of pine tar to the handle. The weight of the bat is written on the knob in blue ink. Pujols' number (5) has been written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. This bat will include a full Letter of Authenticity for Game Use from PSA/DNA.
