Undoubtedly one of the most rare & desirable single signed baseballs by a non-sports personality, offered here is an official Rawlings National League baseball signed in blue ballpoint on a side panel, “Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11.” This creamy sphere is in fine condition, with some subtle soiling trivially affecting the signature area. To date, only a handful of Armstrong signed baseballs have been verified as authentic, and according to our research, this stands as one of only two authenticated signed Armstrong baseballs bearing the highly coveted “Apollo 11” inscription with the last hammering at over $20,000 in 2012 in Robert Edwards Auction!
