Hepburn personally gifted these glasses to production assistant Matilda "Babe" Kupp when Ms. Kupp had difficulties seeing during street shoots on the film, and these glasses remained in the Kupp family's possession since the memorable gesture by Hepburn.
The glasses are well preserved and stand in excellent condition. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from David Kupp, Ms. Kupp's son and executor of the Kupp family estate.
