By 1924 Babe Ruth was a star from coast to coast. While Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner and Joe Jackson might have been known by most fans at that time, who but Babe Ruth would have been invited to headline a nine inning event between himself & the Seattle all-star team. Ruth would prove to be to much for the opponents belting an impressive three homers over the fence during the exhibition. Offered here is one official American League sphere that was hit for a dinger in the third inning of that 1924 contest between the two foes. Signed boldly on the side panel by Ruth along with fellow exhibition attendee Bob Meusel. Displaying as a single, this orb is a true rarity providing a desirable early career signed example on a ball that was lifted into orbit by no other than the Babe himself! Overall in fine condition with even toning and great game use. Authenticated & graded by the experts of PSA/DNA with the autographs grading a collective 7 overall!
