A terrific trio of baseball legends is featured on this Spalding Babe Ruth Home Run Special model baseball. Headlining the ball with a bold black fountain pen autograph across the sweet spot is none other than Babe Ruth himself. Also signing along the side panels are fellow Yankee icon Lou Gehrig and famed Boston Red Sox slugger Jimmie Foxx, with Gehrig and Foxx signing along two separate panels in black ink as well. An ink notation on one of the panels reads "St. Petersburg, 34," which likely pinpoints these signatures to Spring Training prior to the 1934 season. Ball exhibits strong uniform toning/soiling, however the signatures are fully legible and the manufacturer's stampings are strong. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
