A Fender Stratocaster that's been personally owned and played by Bob Dylan. The guitar bears a beautiful sunburst finish with a striking white pickguard. Marked "Made in USA", the guitar's serial number of the guitar is "S 892352", dating it to 1978.

This is arguably one of the most sought-after guitars int the world that would be a highlight in any high-end music memorabilia collection.

The Stratocaster is one of Dylan's favorite guitars, and he has reportedly owned four of them. In 2013, one of Dylan's Stratocaster guitars sold for $965,000, making it the most expensive guitar ever sold at that time. Notable, the guitar in question that nearly fetched a million dollars was the guitar that Bob Dylan used to go electric at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

There are countless images of Dylan playing a Stratocaster guitar, with the same fiasco as this guitar, throughout his career. The guitar is accompanied by a Fender guitar case.

Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from César Diaz, who was Dylan's personal guitar amplifier technician and guitarist. Diaz also joined Dylan on stage in 1990-1991 and played more than 60+ shows with Dylan. They remained friends until he died in 2002. The letter in full: "The Fender Stratocaster, serial #S892352, 1978, was previously owned by Bob Dylan. Bob played this guitar in his studio and on stage. Beautiful finish and good condition, all original. I attest that the guitar is authentic and that it belonged to my friend Bob. Also accompanied is a Letter of Provenance from the man who bought the guitar from Diaz, confirming that the sale took place in 1990, the same year as the letter from Diaz was written.
