Direct from the man who created the design of the iconic character we know as Boba Fett, offered here is a beautiful, full-color illustration of the legendary bounty hunter, accomplished entirely in the hand of Joe Johnston. A rather detailed sketch, with Johnston capping off the piece with a black ink signature directly below his artwork. Accompanying the artwork is a Certificate of Authenticity that is also signed by Johnston and that features an image of the legendary Star Wars designer holding up this exact sketch! This sketch is part of a limited number of sketches that Johnston agreed to do several years ago. Upon their release, the sketches immediately sold out, and this stands as one of just a few to resurface on the market since their release. In excellent condition. Johnston is credited as the conceptual designer for Boba Fett. While working with fellow designer Ralph McQuarrie on a revised version of the Boba Fett suit, Johnston revisited and revised previous designs of Darth Vader and used them to create what would become the final version of Boba Fett.
