Up for grabs in this auction offering is a Rawlings official Major League (Manfred) baseball beautifully hand signed by Posey on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen. In addition to signing the ball, Posey took a swing at it on August 24, 2016 in a game against the Dodgers, where this ball was thrown to him by Rich Hill in the bottom of the first, with the swing resulting in the ball being hit foul. Aside from the expected uniform soiling and scuffing from game usage the ball stands in otherwise fine condition. A serial-numbered MLB Authentication hologram is affixed to the ball to verify the game usage, and the autograph is validated with a COA from James Spence Authentication/JSA.
