Cal Ripken Jr. Signed Game Used 3rd Base from 10-5-2001 - Ripken's Final Hit Game & 2nd to Last Game Ever! (MLB Holo & Beckett/BAS)

Offered here is an official Major League Baseball base bag from the 2001 showcasing a tribute graphic for Cal Ripken's final season and used in a game on October 5, 2001--the second of a double header between the Orioles and Red Sox--in which Ripken had his final major league hit (#3,184 to be exact). The next day would be Ripken's final game, capping off one of the most accomplished careers in baseball history.

The base shows great usage with cleat markings and clay stains and has been signed by Ripken along the side of the commemorative graphic in black felt tip marker.

A serial-numbered authentication hologram from MLB Authentication serves as authenticity for the game usage, and the autograph of Ripken has been authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
