Because of his high level of play in the minors, Connor McDavid was granted Exceptional Player status by Hockey Canada and was allowed to be entered in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection at age 15, a year earlier than he would have otherwise been eligible. He was selected first overall by the Erie Otters. Throughout his inaugural season, McDavid would break several records and win Rookie of the Month back-to-back two times. He finished the season with the most assists by an OHL rookie with 41 and second in scoring for first-year players, with 66 points. He was awarded the Emms Family Award as the top rookie in the OHL, was a finalist for CHL Rookie of the Year, and was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team. Offered here is a seldom seen Erie Otters Connor McDavid CCM-style jersey signed by the greatest player on ice on the reverse in black felt tip marker. This is a rare opportunity to own a jersey that hearkens back to the beginning of what well no-doubt be an incredible career for McDavid. In fine condition. Authenticated by JSA with a full letter of authenticity.
