In a 22-year career, Cy Young established major league records that still remain unbroken: most wins (511), innings pitched (7,355), games started (815) and most complete games (749). He won 30 or more consecutive games five times and passed the 20-win mark 10 times. No wonder MLB named the annual award for best pitcher after him - his the game's greatest. Young, who was named to the Hall of Fame in 1937 and passed away in 1955, has inked this vintage Reach Official American League (Harridge) baseball on one of the side panels. The baseball has scuffing and light dirt marks throughout, but has a nice warm aged patina to it. A great piece of baseball history from the man who holds more records than anyone else in the history of the game. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
