Undoubtedly one of the finest Cy Young letters/documents to ever surface in the market, offered here is a one-page questionnaire, no date, issued to Young by the Sporting News, 8.5" x 11", on official Sporting News letterhead. Asking just a single question in type ("Who do you think was the greatest ballplayer of all-time? Why?"), Young replies with an insightful response which reads: "1 Ty Cob [sic] he could do most anything he tried in his position 2 base and short stop. Wagner with out a doubt. Babe Ruth as a hitter in a class by himself." Filled out entirely in Young's hand in a rich blue ink and signed at the conclusion, "Cy Young." Some light toning is present along the edges and a small newspaper image of Young has been affixed in the lower right corner. Accompanied by dual Letters of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA) and PSA/DNA.
