The offered guitar pick comes from a batch of picks that were custom made for Elvis Presley during the 1970s. Elvis used this variety of pick, as well as several others over the years, on stage when he played guitar. Of the several varieties of picks he employed, the offered style is by far the most iconic. This triangular faux tortoiseshell guitar pick is embossed with the initials “E.P.” on one side. Although it cannot be determined if this example was one with which Elvis played, it was owned by him, and its characteristics match known examples. The pick measures approximately 1 3/4 inches on each side and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated and was featured in an auction at Graceland in 2016. The pick presents with no damage or distresses. Near Mint to Mint condition.
