Considered one of the greatest running backs in football history, Dickerson led the league in rushing yards on four separate occasions, including a record 2,105 yards in 1984. He also holds the record for most rushing yards (1,808) by a rookie in 1983. Dickerson, playing in his 9th NFL season (and 5th with the Colts) appeared in ten games in 1991. He finished the year with 536 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Offered here is a Champion official Indianapolis Colts road jersey worn by the Hall of Famer in 1991. The white mesh jersey has all of the correct identifiers. All numerals and letters have been applied in silk-screened blue paint. A "Champion 46" label appears on the left front tail, and an NFL logo patch is located at the base of the front collar. The front of the collar has been cut into a "V", a typical alteration seen in Dickerson gamers. Dickerson himself has gone onto sign and inscribe the jersey to a lucky fan - "To Tommy, Happy birthday, Eric Dickerson" - on the reverse side. The jersey displays heavy use, including a team repair along the front "9", and a small tear on the right shoulder. The jersey has been given the grade of A-10 from MEARS and is accompanied by a full Letter of Grading & Authenticity.
