In the ever expanding world of baseball collecting, one item stands out as timeless as the epitome of prized treasures. The single signed official baseball signed by Babe Ruth, ounce for ounce, is the most sought after classic trophy in the hobby. No collector of any area of baseball can claim to be an aficionado of the game and not include in his coveted cache of acquisition, a baseball single signed on the sweet spot, by the greatest figure in the history of sport, Babe Ruth. Offered here is an ONL (Frick) baseball in Near Mint condition, boldly signed perfectly centered on the sweet spot, 'Babe Ruth.'. A light brushing of shellac has preserved the autograph at a 6/10 to 7/10 level. With no removals or enhancements, the lucky fellow who was gifted this ball still has a presence adding to the side panel "By the Famoos Youkie Aarons." Given the spelling and the Babe's nature, this was most likely signed for a younger fan in the crowd. Overall in fine condition, with a slight bit of shellac over the signature. A solid mid-grade Ruth example suitable as a centerpiece to any collection! A full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA is included with this beauty!
