The Opening Ceremony of the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown is arguably the most significant event in baseball history, endowing eleven men with baseball immortality for their elite contributions to the game's first hundred years. Since that historic date, many collectors have searched far & wide for the collective grouping of the legendary inaugural class. No matter if it's cut signatures or single signed baseballs, many of these greats remain elusive to those that covet their autographs on a daily basis. For your bidding pleasure is this impressive 32" x 42" 1939 Hall of Fame signature display with 11 high quality signature examples. Signatures include: Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Larry Lajoie, Connie Mack, Eddie Collins, Honus Wagner, George Sisler and Tris Speaker. It's worth noting that Grover Cleveland Alexander's autograph serves as a very rare full name example. Overall in fine condition. A worthy centerpiece item for any high-quality baseball collector. Each autograph is encapsulated by PSA/DNA & the whole item includes dual letters of authenticity from both PSA/DNA & James Spence Authentication (JSA).
