Jackie Robinson is one of the most well-regarded and admired athletes in baseball history, and as such his items are always in demand. His appearance on the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 changed the history of baseball forever, breaking the color barrier and allowing African Americans the chance to show their stuff in the big leagues. Since he passed early back in 1972, his highly-desirable signatures are less plentiful than other contemporary players, especially single signatures on a baseball. This Official League baseball has been signed "Jackie Robinson" at the top of the south panel. The ball has some even toning but remains in fine condition (grading a 6 from PSA/DNA). The autograph in blue ink stands out boldly and the desirability of a single signed Jackie Robinson sphere outweighs any minor flaws of the baseball itself. The autograph has been given a grade of NM-MT 8! Accompanied by a full Letter of Grading & Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
