The combination of his talent, dashing looks and tragic death at the tender age of 24 has cemented his place in Hollywood history among one of the rarest autographs in the hobby. Offered here is a seldom seen 8" x 10" black & white photograph graced by James Dean in bold blue ballpoint above his bust image. Signature & inscription read in full, "To Carl, With Best Wishes, James Dean." Overall in fine condition with handling wear to the edges, minor discoloration & creasing to the top portion. Authenticated by both James Spence Authentication (JSA) & Beckett/BAS with a full letter of authenticity & grading (BAS NM 8).
