Despite Jerry Rice’s legacy, many die hard fans of Rice don't recall Rice's final attempt at lacing it up in the NFL as a Denver Bronco. Rice would join an excelling Broncos team in 2005, playing only in the pre-season before leaving the team due to a roster spot issue with Mike Shannahan. This 2005 game-used size “05-42 S” with “4” L.B” tagging jersey is one of Rice’s last jerseys to hit the grid iron and very well maybe the last. The jersey itself displays good use, most likely from their two pre-season games that year where they wore blue, most importantly Rice's last game VS. the Phoenix Cardinals. This jersey is an extreme oddity. With players typically receiving only two pre-season jerseys, it iss conceivable that this jersey stands as the only home jersey issued to Rice by the Broncos prior to final cuts. Adding to the allure of this jersey is Jerry Rice’s signature on the reverse which has been authenticated by Jerry Rice with a player hologram affixed to the item & JSA authentication. A true must-have for any big Rice fan or football historian.
