Audiences had never before experienced anything quite like Jimi Hendrix. His wild attire and even wilder stage presence were sights to be seen. Followers soon learned that it was his mastery of the electric guitar was a true force to be reckoned with. By experimenting with electronic sound, Hendrix created a musical drive that had been previously unimaginable. In late 1966, Hendrix journeyed to England and organized the Jimi Hendrix Experience, a creative rock band that introduced itself to audiences via the 1967 album, Are You Experienced. Without question, Are You Experienced became one of the greatest rock masterpieces of the 1960's.
Offered here is an exceptional blue ink autograph and inscription, "Jimi Hendrix,Love Always xxxxxxxxx" penned by the musical icon on a 4.5" x 3.5" calander page, with the signature projecting a "9-10" appearance. Acquired after one of Hendrix's most famous concerts in Chicago on December 1st, 1968 shortly following his release of the Electric Ladyland LP. Oddly enough this signature was penned over the date December 29-31st 1968, which would be exactly one year before the live performance which later turned into the Band of Gypsys album.
