When the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals met in Super Bowl XXIII, it was a rematch of the Super Bowl seven years prior, a 26-21 49ers victory. Super Bowl XXIII followed almost the same script, with the Niners marching to a 20-16 victory behind the tandem of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Rice caught 11 passes for a Super Bowl record 215 yards and a touchdown to help the 49ers win their third Super Bowl. Rice would earn Super Bowl MVP honors for his valiant effort during the game. This ticket is the coral variation and was signed by Joe Montana and Super Bowl MVP Jerry Rice across the midsection of the ticket with a black marker. Both signatures are perfectly executed.
