John Lennon Signs His First Published Book Along with Notable Beatles-Related Personalities Helen Shaprio & Wilfred Brumbell! Pop star, composer, songwriter, and recording artist, born in Liverpool, Merseyside, NW England, UK. He was the Beatles rhythm guitarist, keyboard player, and vocalist, and a partner in the Lennon--McCartney song-writing team. This is the first book that Lennon wrote with gobblygook jokes and other humorous stories in a sense of humor that was Lennon's alone. Offered here is a 1964 hardcover, third print pressing; printed in Great Britain by Fleming & Humphreys, 7” x 5.5”. The book has been nicely hand signed, “John Lennon," & "Brian Epstein" with a large, dark, bold, pristine signature on inside front cover page. Along the inside back of the front cover are the signatures of three notable UK figures who are apart of Beatles history. The first person being former UK pop singer Helen Shapiro (The Beatles’ first national tour of the UK was as her opening act!), Arthur Askey & Wilfred Brumbell, the controversial Irish actor who played Paul McCartney’s fictional grandfather in “A Hard Day’s Night”. The book is well preserved overall with clean pages on the inside and only minimal handling wear along the covers. In overall NM condition.
