Boldly penned handwritten and signed letter by John Quincy Adams, 7" x 3" with no date. Brief letter to a gentleman, in full: "I received this morning, the papers herewith enclosed, from the War Department, addressed to you; which I take the earliest opportunity, of forwarding to you; and remain, faithfully yours." The note has intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature, an area of foxing to the left side, and trimmed edges, but otherwise in fine condition. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
