While many legendary musicians have succumbed to a life of access by the age of 27, Prince was not one of them. Though he would pass of rather tragic circumstances, Prince would get another 30 years of songwriting, providing the soundtrack of a generation during the 1980s and becoming one of the most prolific performers of all-time.
Offered here is a large metallic purple ink signature, "Prince,” on a light purple 7.75 x 6.5 sheet. In very fine condition. From the collection of Prince's assistant Stachia Fiedler, who notes that this was signed on Prince's 27th birthday, June 7, 1985, at his 'Masquerade Ball' party at the Prom Center in St. Paul. An ideal example of the 'Purple Rain' creator's autograph.
Accompanied by an onslaught of provenance, including Letters of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) and music autograph authority Roger Epperson/REAL Authentication, as well as a Letter of Provenance from Stachia Fielder. Prince's authentic autograph is of ridiculous rarity, this prime example arguably stands out as the best of the best!
