Seldom seen sepia toned image from Jackie Robinson's rookie season, used for his 1947 Bond Bread card. The photo is a 1940s example that was made from a duplicate negative, making it a Type III photograph. The photo has been signed by the color barrier breaker himself in blue ballpoint pen, "To Bill Curtis, best wishes, Jackie Robinson", with an extremely bold blue ballpoint autograph. A rare example of a well-known image used for one of Robinson's rookie cards! In fine condition with minor handling wear and surface impressions. Accompanied by two full Letters of Authenticity from PSA/DNA - one for the Type III photo and one for the autograph.
