Connie Mack & William Harridge Signed Baseball Contract for Mack's Son! (Beckett/BAS LOA)

Bi-fold American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia Contract, 8.5" x 11", on pale blue heavy paper stock. Dated "May 6, 1944", and signed by Connie Mack, William Harridge (American League President) and Earle Mack. Blind stamped with the official American Baseball club seal. Fine condition.

An official contract for the appointment of Earle Mack as a baseball coach with an aggregate salary of "$7500" payable "Semi-monthly throughout the year". Earle Thaddeus Mack, was the son of Connie Mack, and during parts of two seasons, manager of the Philadelphia Athletics when his father, Connie Mack, was too ill to manage. He also became a part-owner of the franchise.
