Historically scarce vellum document, 13” x 8,” signed by King Henry The IV of France. Known as “Henry the Great” for his numerous victories, he was the first monarch of the house of Bourbon, father to Louis VIII, and wife to well-known Queen Marie de Medici. In very good to fine condition with some irregular trimming to right side and expected wear, though in impeccably presentable considering its age. Authenticated by PSA/DNA, and accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity. A seldom-seen and desirable royal autograph, “Henry the Great” was tragically assassinated in 1610, and this piece captures the essence of the time over 400 years ago!
