Offered here is a seldom seen 7" x 8" signed clipping from a larger Commonwealth of Massachusetts document, with John Hancock's signature underneath the state seal. Any Founding Father's autograph is valuable, especially one such as Hancock, who was the first to lay his signature on the Declaration of Independence. Overall in fine condition with some creasing and foxing. Text on the reverse written in an unknown hand, dating the document to April 20, 1792.
