Heartwarming photo of JFK watching as his son John Jr rides a pony on Labor Day weekend at Hyannis Port, Mass. August 31, 1963. Original first-generation photo, 6.25” x 4.5,” vintage, glossy, double-weight, color photograph by Cecil Stoughton, with Stoughton's unique numbering system on verso, his own file example. In fine condition. A father-and-son moment in time captured a mere three months prior to JFK’s untimely passing. Accompanied by a printout of this image’s record on the official JFK Library website.

Cecil William Stoughton (January 18, 1920 - November 3, 2008) was an American photographer best known for being President John F. Kennedy's photographer during his White House years. Stoughton was present at the motorcade at which Kennedy was assassinated, and subsequently took the only photograph on board Air Force One of Lyndon B. Johnson being sworn in as the next President.
