Fantastic screen-worn gray “cracker” jacket worn by Prince for an interview on Good Morning America with Kevin Newman on July 1, 1998. During the seldom-granted interview, Prince spoke about his first wife and frequent artistic collaborator, Mayte, and promoting his new tour New Power Soul. During a rare humorous and down-to-earth moment, the larger-than-life superstar revealed that he hadn’t eaten breakfast, and proceeded to pull a cracker out of his pocket. Accompanied by several photos of Prince wearing the jacket onscreen during the memorable “cracker” moment, as well as a Letter of Provenance from Prince’s first wife, Mayte Garcia.
