Nicely signed Players cigarette packet which has been attached to an autograph book page, 4.1” x 2.75,” that has been autographed by all four members of The Beatles in various colored ballpoint pens: John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Paul has added the word love above his name and three kiss symbols ‘xxx’ below it, John and Ringo have added three kiss symbols ‘xxx’ below their respective signatures, George has added two kiss symbols ‘xx’ below his name. The autographs were obtained backstage at the Co-operative Hall, Darwen, Lancashire, England on 25th January 1963. They come with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘I attended a concert by the Beatles held at the Co-operative Hall in Darwen on Friday 25th January 1963. After the concert had finished I along with some other fans were allowed to go backstage. The Beatles were sitting in a small room and that is where they signed these autographs on a Players cigarette packet. The condition is very good, with expected aging and wear, and staple affixment to album page; though autographs themselves remain remarkable crisp and bold. Accompanied by a Tracks COA.
